2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• This product is designed for domestic use.
• It should not be used outdoors. It is not appropriate to use it outdoor even if the place is covered with a roof.
General safety
• Vapor and vaporized cleaning materials should never be used in cleaning and defrosting processes of refrigerator. In such cases,
the vapor may get in contact with the electrical parts and cause short circuit or electric shock.
• Never use the parts on refrigerator such as the door and drawer as a means of support or step.
You may cause the product to tip over or parts of it get damaged.
• Do not use electrical devices inside the refrigerator.
• Do not damage the cooling circuit, where the refrigerant is circulating, with drilling or cutting tools. The refrigerant that might blow
out when the gas channels of the evaporator, pipe extensions or surface coatings are punctured may cause skin irritations and
eye injuries.
• Do not cover or block the ventilation holes on refrigerator with any material.
• In case of any failure or during a maintenance or repair work, disconnect refrigerator’s mains supply by either turning off the
relevant fuse or unplugging the appliance.
• Do not pull by the cable when pulling off the plug.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, others than those recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Exposing the product to rain, snow, sun and wind is dangerous with respect to electrical safety.
• Never plug the refrigerator into the wall outlet during installation. Otherwise, risk of death or serious injury may arise.
• Intended use of the product is to preserve foods; it should never be used for other purposes.
• Rating plate containing product's technical specifications is in the inner left part of the product.
• Connecting the product to electric energy saving systems is risky as it may cause damage on the product.
• If the product is equipped with blue light, the light should not be looked into by optical appliances.
• In products with mechanical control (thermostat), wait for 5 min. to re-plug the product if it is unplugged.
• Power cable and plug should not be damaged when moving the refrigerator. To avoid risk of fire, the cable should not be kinked or
put under heavy things. Do not touch the plug with wet hands when plugging the product.
• The product should not be plugged if the receptacle is loose.
• Water should not be sprayed directly on inner or outer parts of the product to avoid safety risks.
• Flammable pressurized sprays should not be sprayed near the product to avoid risk of fire or explosion.
• Containers with liquid inside should not be placed on top of the product. Spilling water on an electrical component may cause
electric shocks or risk of fire.
• Products that need a precise temperature control (vaccines, heat-sensitive medicine, scientific materials, etc.) should not be kept
in the refrigerator.
3 January’ 11
F60235N/NE-F60265N/NE-F60285N/NE NO-FROST UPRIGHT DEEP FREEZER

• Refrigerator should be disconnected if it is not going to be used for a long time. Any problem in the cable insulation may cause fire.
• Dirt and dusts on tip of the electric plug must be cleaned; otherwise, they may cause risk of fire.
• The product may move when level adjustment feet of the product do not stand on the floor well.
• If the product has a door handle, the product must not be pulled by the handle, because the handle may be forced out.
• Care should be paid as there is risk of squeezing hands or feet between the movable parts inside the product.
• When you need to operate the refrigerator next to another refrigerator, leave at least 8 cm distance between two refrigerators. If
you leave a shorter distance, condensation may arise on the side walls of the refrigerator.
• Water mains pressure must not be below 1 bar. Water mains pressure must not be above 8 bars.
• Use only potable water.
HCA Warning
If the product is equipped with a cooling system that contains R600a:
This gas is flammable. Therefore, pay attention to not damaging the cooling system and piping during usage and transportation. In
the event of damage, keep the product away from potential fire sources that can cause the product catch a fire and ventilate the
room in which the unit is placed.
Ignore the warning if the product is equipped with a cooling system that contains R134a.
You can see the gas used in production of the product on the rating plate that is located on the left inner part of it.
Never dispose the product in fire.
Things to be done for energy saving
• Do not leave the doors of the refrigerator open for a long time.
• Do not put hot food or drinks in the refrigerator.
• Do not overload the refrigerator so that the air circulation inside of it is not prevented.
• Do not install the refrigerator under direct sunlight or near heat emitting appliances such as ovens, dishwashers or radiators.
• Please recommend that food items must be kept in closed containers.
• In order to load maximum amount of food in refrigerator's freezer compartment, place the food onto the wire shelves instead of the
drawer and remove the upper cover. Maximum power consumption with maximum amount of food as described above has been
measured and indicated on the energy label. Depending on the shape of the food to be frozen, there is no inconvenience in using
the drawers and upper shelf cover.

4. PRODUCT INSTALLATION
4.1 FIRST INSTALLATION
After unpacking, please take the following into consideration for the installation of refrigerator:

1. Is the interior of the refrigerator dry and can the air circulate freely in the rear of it?
2. You can install the 2 plastic wedges as illustrated in the figure. Plastic wedges will provide the required distance between the
refrigerator and the wall in order to allow the air circulation. (The illustrated figure is only an example and does not match
exactly with your product.)

3. Plug the refrigerator into the wall outlet.

4. You will hear a noise as the compressor starts up. The liquid and gases sealed within the refrigeration system may also give
rise to noise, even if the compressor is not running and this is quite normal.
5. Front edges of the refrigerator may feel warm. This is normal. These areas are designed to be warm to avoid condensation.
6. Keep refrigerator away from heat sources, humid places and direct sunlight.
7. There must be appropriate air ventilation around the refrigerator in order to achieve an efficient operation. If the refrigerator is
to be placed in a recess in the wall, there must be at least 5 cm distance with the ceiling and at least 5 cm with the wall. If the
floor is covered with a carpet, the product must be elevated 2.5 cm from the floor.
8. Place the refrigerator on an even floor surface to prevent jolts.

Adjusting the feet:

If the refrigerator is not level, you can level it by turning the front feet as illustrated in the figure below. The corner where the
foot exists is lowered when you turn it in the direction of black arrow and raised when you turn it in the opposite direction.

Temperature Setting:
For the models for which a position is assigned, it is recommended to operate on position 3 in the first installation and on
position -20 for the models in display.

6 GENERAL OPERATION PRINCIPLE

The product is an NF upright deep freezer.

Refrigeration is achieved by means of passing the air, which is absorbed by the fan on the
uppermost part, through the evaporator located behind the cabin. Air temperature sensor on
the upper right corner controls the temperature.

Air guiding plates on the uppermost shelf serve for proper air circulation and their position is
critical. The product performs de-frost periodically in a certain algorithm. Defrosted water
accumulates in evaporating container above the compressor.

If quick freeze function is activated, the product compressor achieves maximum refrigeration
by operating at 100% capacity for the determined period (>24h).

If the product's door is not opened for a long time, the product steps into energy saving
mode without compromising performance.

SERVICE TEST
If the product is not deenergised, the test takes 30 minutes; if it is deenergised during the test, the test is terminated.
frz_eva and frz_air sensor temperature values are expected to be close to each other when the product is energised for the first time.
Points to check during the service test:
1. Check whether the version number is 93.
2. Check the Frz-eva and Frz-air sensor temperature values (sensor temperature values must be close to each other when the product is energised for the first time.)
3. There are certain indicators that should be on or off in seven segment display and among the LED indicators Check whether there is any event contrary.
