The charts below show the distributions, based on the ages, of the populations of Yemen and Italy in 2000

and for 2050, the latter evalueted by means of a probabilistic study.

Firstly, if we analyze the graphs on the left side, which give informations on the ages of the populations of
these two countries in 2000, it is possible to see that in Italy there are ore older peolple (24.1%) and less
young people (under 15%) with respect to Yemen, where latters are the most of the population, with a
percentuage of 50.1%, while in Italy the most of the population are between 15 and 59 years old.

Now, if we consider the graphs on the right side for 2050, it’s possible to note an aging of the population in
Italy, where the percentuage of the older people will reach the value of 42.3%, while the number of the
young people will slightly decrease. The same trend there will be in Yemen, but with an increase of the age
less.

At the end, in Italy we have an higher average age than Yemen, but in both countries there will be an
increase of the older people and a decrease of the young people.
