Adjective + preposition (Feelings)
Grammar Exercises Here are some examples of adjectives describing feelings
with their common prepositions. Note that often adjectives
with similar meanings have the same preposition.

Some adjectives can use two prepositions - for the person
and the reason. For example:
FCE practice
angry
annoyed
I'm with him about the washing up.
cross
furious

Unfortunately there are often other possible prepositions,


which may change the meaning slightly. For example:
He was guilty of murder.
(a court decided that he had committed this crime)
He felt guilty about lying to the police.
(a feeling)
