Description
Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP is a SBR based liquid used for waterproofing and repair of concrete and mortars. It also serves as
a bond coat to repair sections.
Areas of Application
• For waterproofing - Small roof terraces, sunken portions of toilets & bathrooms, chajja, balconies
• For concrete repairs – Spalled concrete of floors, columns, beams, chajja, slabs, parapets, etc.
• As a bond coat – For bonding of new concrete to old concrete, masonry stone work, plastering For bonding of new con-
crete to old concrete, masonary stone work, plastering
• For Crack Repair - Masonary and plaster cracks of more than 10 mm
Method of Application
For Waterproofing
• Clean the surface thoroughly of its loose concrete, dust, etc., and prewet with water adequately
• Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP and cement in 1:1.5 proportion by volume
• Apply 1st coat when the surface is in touch dry condition and allow it to dry for 4 to 5 hours. Apply 2nd coat and allow
it to air cure for at least 72 hours
• Overlay the coating with a protective screed to the desired slope & thickness
As Bonding Agent
• Clean the surface thoroughly of its loose concrete, dust, etc., and prewet with water adequately
• Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP and cement in 1:1 proportion by volume and apply 1 brush coat
For Repairs
• Remove all loose or cracked concrete till healthy surface is encountered. Clean reinforcement steel if exposed by
mechanical means. Moisten the surface with clean water and allow excess surface water to evaporate.
• Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP with neat cement in 1:1 Proportion by weight. Brushes apply a single coat immediately over
the cementitious surface. (eg. 1kg URP in 1kg cement).
• Prepare repair mortar by adding 10% to 15% Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP in 1:3 cement mortar (one part cement 3 parts sand)
• Apply this mortar when the bond coat is tacky and final layer can be finished with trowel to get smooth finish.
