Learning Outcomes : Pupils will be able to say time of the day correctly
MATHEMATICS Learning Activities :
1. Seat the pupils in groups (three pupils). Paste the word cards
‘morning’, ‘noon’, ‘afternoon’, ‘evening’, ‘night’ and ‘midnight’ on the
(1 PEARL) board.

2.40-3.10 2. Ask them to write down the events of the day based on their
& knowledge and experience. Discuss.

4.30-5.00 3. Distribute the pictures of daily activities to each group. Ask them to
& colour, cut and paste the pictures on a mahjong paper in the correct
(1 RUBY) order based on the time of the day. Get them to write the event under
5.30-6.00 each picture.
6.00-6.30
4. Ask them to show and talk about their chart. Display the charts on
the notice board. The charts will be used again in Unit 8.5.
