topographic surveys, how to
use tools such as tape
measure, theodolites and
other margins of error
causes, types of terrains
such as alignment.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Perform the topographic survey through the method of polygonization, using as a main
instrument the tape measure and the lifting of details in the land for the preparation of plans.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Know the basic principles of planimetry and its application.

Learn to correctly handle the instruments used in taking horizontal distance, in different types of
terrain.
Identify the errors in the measurements, with their possible causes.
