Course Objectives and Outcomes:
1. Some preliminaries in the course outlines give the prerequisite knowledge of
mathematics to the students from pre medical background.
2. Functions a living scenario in natural and social sciences have been discussed
thoroughly.
3. Graphical approach to all type of functions gives students a good analyzing tool.
4. Applications of each type of functions will make students more practical.
5. Statistical approach to the course will give students a broad quantitative approach.
6. Generally Business mathematics will enhance the decision-making skills of the
students through logical knowledge of the mathematics.
Ultimate Objectives:
Business Mathematics is a basic mathematical study that allows one to solve a great
many problems. The overall objectives of the course are to understand mathematical
ideas with a depth and flexibility that allows students to apply it in their discipline. The
students should be able to interpret the concepts of Business mathematics algebraically,
graphically and verbally in their practical life. More generally, the students will improve
their ability to think critically, to analyze a problem and solve it using a wide array of
tools.
