Teacher moves ghost puppet up and down and makes sliding
sounds, group echos

Instructions: Stand

2. Song Fragments: Kye Kye Kule 4 min.


Remind students of correct singing posture and breathing
Group echoes teacher, then student solos echo group

Instructions: Make a circle and sit on the floor.

3. Simple Songs: Hop Old Squirrel 4 min.


Teacher asks students to form a circle in the center of the room.
Teacher sings, then students sing and do motions

4. Arioso Land 1 min.


Teacher speaks/sings: “I speak like this” and “I sing like this,”
students echo
Teacher and students (groups) sing conversations on a neutral
syllable

Instruction: Stand up and quietly find your own four tiles and face the
window.

5. Movement Exploration (Movement Warm-Up): Star Dance 4 min.
