1. Our second love offering is for the support of the Diocesan Youth Ministry.

2. There are in your pews envelopes for your Mass intentions for your departed
loved ones. We will offer masses for their eternal repose on the first eight days
of November. The Parish Office will not accept mass intentions for the dead
on these days.
Also, on these days, a faithful may gain plenary indulgence by visiting a
cemetery and praying for the a) dead, b) one “Our Father”, c) the Creed, and
d) for the intention of the Holy Father. Other requirements are going to
sacramental confession and receiving Holy Communion.

3. The Los Baños Municipal Health Office invites you to their 4th Dugong Bayani
Blood Donation Activity on October 20, 2018, from 8:00AM to 2:00PM, at the
activity area of the new municipal building of Los Baños, Laguna. Sharing
blood can save lives, let us share our Dugong Bayani and be a hero for every
life we save.

4. On October 21, 2018, Sunday, the Vocation Promotions Team of the Jesuits
Society will be holding the "Meet the Jesuits – Discernment Seminar" for
school year 2018-2019. The activity hopes to attract participants from Los
Baños and the surrounding areas who might be good prospects for Jesuit
candidacy. This will be held in Room 1 of our Formation Center. For more

5. Likewise, the Red Cross Youth of UPLB, in partnership with UP Beta Sigma
Fraternity and UP Sigma Beta Sorority – Laguna Chapter, invites everyone to
another bloodletting activity this coming October 24, 2018, from 7:00AM to
6:00PM, at the Student Union Building Sunken Lobby, UPLB. For more
information, kindly contact Cary Olivar whose number is projected on the
screen.

6. Families with children 10 years old and below are invited to attend the Family
Encounter Weekend to be held at the TREES Training Center Forestry
Campus UPLB on October 26 to 28, 2018. The Family Encounter seminar is a
3-day live-in retreat for families that is filled with fun and lively activities, talks
by families and guided by a priest spiritual director. It is organized by the
Bukas Loob sa Diyos Catholic Charismatic Covenant Community based at the
DSSTCJ. For more information, you may contact any BLD member.
 7. The Foundation for St. Therese-Los Baños, Inc. is inviting nominations for the
2018 Community Service Awards. The Awards recognize individuals or
institutions who have, in their own “little way”, positively influenced affairs of
the community through contributions to the vision, leadership, management
and implementation of community-based and community-led programs,
organizations and/or services. Nominations will be accepted until October 31,
2018. For details, please see posters in the bulletin board or contact the FST-
LBI office at Tel # 544-5773.

8. Our concluding activity for our October Marian devotion will be celebrated with
the praying of the Holy Rosary in five Philippine dialects and two international
languages. This will be on October 31st, Wednesday, to start at 4:20PM. We
call all members of our church organizations and ministries and the rest of the
parishioners of St. Therese to join us in praying with our Blessed Mother, our
surest way to her loving Son.

9. Lastly, all those celebrating their birthdays or wedding anniversaries today,

please approach the altar for a special prayers from our presider. They will be
followed by those with religious items to be blessed.
