Dear Students,

Welcome to our Ancient Mesopotamia Unit! In lieu of a test this unit, we will be breaking into brand new groups to complete a
choiceboard project. Please choose AT LEAST one item in the tic-tac-toe choiceboard to complete EACH. Get creative! Try choosing
a project that plays to your strengths, that will engage your classmates, and will display your knowledge as a historian. There are extra
credit opportunities available for this assessment! You may complete up to two other activities for an additional 3 points each. You
must write a reflection on your areas of strength and weakness for this assignment as well as a reflection on each group member’s
performance. Reflections will be private, it is important that you are honest in your assessments of yourself and your group mates. We
will discuss this project at-length in class, however and questions can be answered during class, via email, and/or seesaw.

Fondly,
Mrs. Van Pool
