Having 1 year Experience as a Welding Supervisor at BPCL Ltd. Cochin, 2015-2016

 Check the piping material as per Codes and Process Standard Specifications.
 Coordination with material department /ware house, and witness material
receiving inspection and prepare damage reports, if any
 Ensure that defective products are identified and segregated and move to
quarantine storage area.
 Ensure satisfactory identification of material, proper protection of pipe and
fittings.
 Witnessing fit up, elevation and clearance of support installation.
 Verify alignment of piping connections, fit-up etc.
 Checking dimensions, level, plumb, alignment and orientation of piping
spools as per approved isometric drawings.
 Monitor and ensures that all welding activities are carried out according to
the approved procedures and compliance to welding codes.
 Ensure welding parameters stated in WPS has been followed.
 Familiar with Non-Destructive Testing methods (RT, UT, LPT & MT).
 Coordinating with painting group for necessary painting activities like surface
preparation, painting application and reviewing records as per the project
requirements for achieving quality requirements.
 Witnessing inspection of flanges, gaskets, and bolts, prior to installation,
flange alignment, bolt torqueing and tensioning.
 Preparation of Hydrostatic test packages and coordination with construction
group for closing all A- Punch items prior to pressure test.
  Prepare punch items, prior to release for hydro testing according to the
punch list category.

Preparing, Witnessing and documenting pressure

 Ensure welding parameters stated in WPS has been followed.

&Id marked with test boundaries, check list,

 and all the related documents are attached in the test package as per the
project requirements.
 Final Release and Signing of Test Packages.
 Inspection of valve, type of valves, direction of valve installed, and valve
handle orientation, valve tag number, flange rating & size, vales operation
and maintenance access.
