1. Procedure To Receive Convocation Application Forms :-
(a) Applications can be received by post from the office of the Controller of Examination
by sending a self addressed stamp envelope for Rs. 10/-
(b) The application can be downloaded from the website www.msuniversity.org.in and
www.msuniv.ac.in
2. (a) Aplications not received in the prescribed form, application without the required attested
xerox copy and applications received after the due date, will be REJECTED AND
THE FEES REMITTED CANNOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
3. FILLED IN APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE FORWARDED THROUGH THE PRINCIPAL
OF THE COLLEGE / HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY
CONCERNTED / WITHOUT FAIL.
4. THE APPLICATIONS OF THE CANDIDATES WHO UNDERWENT THEIR COURSES
THROUGH DD & CE SHOULD BE FORWARDED BY THE DIRECTOR, DD & CE,
M.S. UNIVERSITY WITHOUT FAIL.
5. Ph.D. Candidates and Medalists alone are eligible to apply “IN PERSON”. They may also
apply in absentia.
6. All other candidates have to apply only in the form of “IN ABSENTIA”
7. The candidates who underwent their course through DD & CE should apply only in the
form of “IN ABSENTIA”
8. ENQUIRIES FROM CANDIDATES AS TO THE RECEIPT OF THEIR APPLICATION
IN THIS OFFICE WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY ATTENTION. Candidates are, therefore,
advised to submit the application before the due date by Registered Post with
Acknowledgement due.
9. Degree certificates for the regular college candidates will be sent to their College where they
have last studied, after the convocation is over.
The Degree certificate will not be sent directly or issued to the candidates in person, under any
circumstances.

11. Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to subsequent convocation under any
circumstances. (Note : The convocation fee should be remitted by way of Demand Draft drawn
in favour of “THE REGISTRAR, MANONMANIAM SUNDARANAR UNIVERSITY”,
payable at “TIRUNELVELI” from any nationalised / scheduled bank and the application form to
be sent to the Controller of Examinations).
12. The applicant should write his / her Name, Register number, Centre, Course and Convocation
fee at the overleaf (backside) of the Demand Draft in pen, without fail.
13. Money orders, cheques, chalans, Indian Postal Orders, Treasury Chalans, etc., are not accepted.
14. 5 days prior to the date of convocation, admission card will be sent to the candidates who have
applied for convocation “IN PERSON”. On the date of Convocation, the candidates must appear
