Synopsis : This course aims to provide basic knowledge, skills and

attitude necessary for the management of patient with aye

disorder. This will be achieved by exploring theoretical,

conceptual and practical knowledge underlying effective

provision care to the patient within the context of nursing

care of clients with eyes disorder

Objectives : on completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Discuss condition of specific eyes disorder related to nursing care

2. Describe the pathophysiology processes involved in eyes disorder

3. Provide individualized care for adult with eyes disorder using the nursing

process.

4. Apply learn theory in managing the eyes disorder patient


5. Demonstrate knowledge of the function and clinical application technology

setting

6. Demonstrate understanding in administrating drugs and its associated

implications.

7. Provide health education to patient and family through effective

communication skills.

Syllabus Content : As below

Teaching Methodology : Approaches include formal lectures, self-directed

learning, group discussions, and student presentation.

Students are expected to apply their knowledge and

skills in the clinical area where nursing skill can be

practiced during their clinical posting.

Assessment : Student will be assessed as follows:
