Description: Free medical clinic at East Plano Islamic Center is for patients who do not have insurance and
cannot afford to see a doctor.
Notes: EPIC Medical Clinic has been operating since 2008, helping community members receive free basic
medical care. Our goal has been to assist those who are in need and cannot afford doctor's visits
or simply reach our for a medical consultation.

‐Labs are negotiated at 70% discount rate by EPIC Medical Clinic and this saving is passed on to the

‐Patient who miss their appointment without calling 24 hours ahead to cancel or reschedule their
appointment by leaving a message or emailing us, will be charged $20 at their next appointment.
(This charge is for their missed appointment as this spot could have been given to some else if the
patient would have called and re‐scheduled or cancelled ahead of time)

When AIDS Arms opened in 1986, we opened in the midst and to serve a crisis ‐ the AIDS epidemic.
Thankfully, the last 30 years has seen a dramatic change in the landscape of HIV & AIDS. An HIV
diagnosis is no longer a death sentence. Today, the focus is on the quality of life.
AIDS Arms is changing its name to Prism Health North Texas.
The new name reflects our broad array of services provided to meet the diverse needs of the
community. People from a spectrum of all backgrounds will continue to receive the highest quality
of care and services. Prism Health North Texas will work with each person to illuminate an
individual path towards a healthy outcome.
