Preface
With the increasing popularization of mobile communication services,
mobile base stations are set up all over the country. The power
networks are not stable in most places where the mobile base
stations are installed and there are no attendants in the equipment
room. In this case, a demand for centralized supervision on base
stations arises more urgently than on the local network. The Mobile
Base Station Centralized Supervision System (E-GUARD) is such a
supervision system specialized for this demand. It supervises the
environment and power equipment of the base station.

Power-On/Off
The power switch of the EISU is a seesaw switch. It is located in the
middle of the right panel, as shown in Figure 11.
1. Power-on
Press the 1 end of the power switch to power on the EISU.
After you power on the EISU, the power indicator is on and the
EISU enters the working status.
2. Power-off
Press the 0 end of the power switch to power off the EISU.
After being powered off, the EISU does not function any more.
There is no strict restriction on the time interval between power-
off this time and power-on next time.
EISUM
The external interfaces of the EISUM form a row, from the right X1
to the left X12, at the bottom of the case, as shown in the above
figure. The functions of the interfaces are described below.
Definition of X1 Pins
The power interface X1 on the EISUM is a 3-core (pin) socket for
external -48 V power connection. It provides power for the EISU. Its
pins are numbered 1, 2 and 3 from left to right. For the definition of
X1 pins, see Table 8.
2 / /
Definition of X2 Pins
As a battery voltage measurement interface, X2 on the EISUM is a
4-core (pin) 5.08-distance socket. Its pins are numbered 1, 2, 3 and
4 from left to right. For the definition of X2 pins, see Table 9.
Definition of X3 Pins
Caution:
Input range of general AI/DI: 0–5 V when used as
general AI (voltage type); 0 – 20 mA when used as
general AI (current type); 0–24 V when used as general DI.
The input voltage range of dedicated DI is set by the jumpers of X23 and
X24: below 12 V when you place a jumper over pins 1 and 2; above 12 V
when you place a jumper over pins 2 and 3. Pay attention to the polarity.

Definition of X4 Pins
As the dedicated interface of temperature sensor, smog detector and
access force serial port, X4 on the EISUM is an 8-core (pin) 3.81-
distance socket. Its pins are numbered 1 to 8 from left to right. For
the definition of X4 pins, see Table 11.
Definition of X5 Pins
As the DO and power output interface of sensors, X5 on the EISUM
is a 16-core (pin) dual-row socket. Its pins are arranged as shown in
Figure 13. For the definition of X5 pins, see Table 12.
