    How to describe an animal

    To describe an animal we use the subject “IT”

    What does it look like?

    SIZE: big, small, medium size


    HEIGHT: tall, short
    IS / ISN’T
    It IS light brown. big, tall and fat
    WEIGHT: fat, thin, slim, skinny It ISN’T very big
    COLOUR: light / dark

    PARTS OF THE BODY: HAS GOT / HASN’T GOT


    how many, colour, size, etc. It HAS GOT two small and blue eyes.
    It HASN’T GOT big ears.

    What can it do?

    It CAN fly
    CAN It CAN run very fast

    What can’t it do?

    CAN’T /
    CANNOT It CAN’T talk.
    It CANNOT draw a picture.

    Where does it live?

    LIVES /
    It LIVES in the jungle.
    DOESN’T LIVE It DOESN’T LIVE in the sea.
