INTRODUCTION

What is project based learning:


project based learning is a student centered pedagogy that
involves a dynamic classroom approaches in which it is believed
that the students acquire a deeper knowledge through active
exploration of real world challenges and problems

IT is a style of active learning . project based learning


contrasts with paper based rote memorization or teacher led
instruction that presents established facts or protrays a smooth
path to kowledge by instead posing quistions problems.
project based learning is a comprehensive perspective focused on
teaching by engaging students in investigation. the basis of pbl lies in the
authenticity or real life application of the research. students working as a
team are given a driving question to respond to or answer then directed
to create an artifact to present their gained knowledge.

BENEFITES OF PROJECT BASED LEARNING


P.B.L Is also improves students attitudes toward education thanks to its
ability to keep students engaged the p.b.l structure lends it to building
intrinsic motivation because it enters students learning arround essential
central question or problem and a meaning ful outcome.

ELEMENTS OF PROJECT BASED LEARNING :
Project based learning is a dynamic,flexible pedagogy that may look different
for every group of student in every class room.The essential promote deeper
learning,greater engagedment and higher quality work.These elements
include : challenging problem or question.

These elements include :

DEMERITS :
This project has also demerits,these are

Participate have not failed to mention the difficulties releated to it.Taking into
account the current hellenic education system,there is already a tendency for
students to focused only their projects,neglecting,therefore,the rest of the
courses in the sememster.Proffesor stated that this espect is for the stressed,if
we take into consideration the whole structure of the higher education system
in greece.Courses are divided into to semester per year,with approximately
seven courses per semester.
METHODOLOGY

Students work on a project over an extended


period of time – from a week up to a semester –
that engages them in solving a real-world problem
or answering a complex question. They
demonstrate their knowledge and skills by
developing a public product or presentation for a
real audience.

CONCLUSION :
At the conclusion of a project based learning unit
students are required to produce a product,presentation
or performance that demonstrates mastery of the
objecties.Research indicates that students gain
understanding better.
