I. INTRODUCTION

At the present time, the world is undergoing environmental dilemmas such as outraging
pollution, flashfloods or global warming in general that harms nature. The Waste Management is
one of the main problems in the Philippines, as you can see it is not systematic specifically not
well organize and some of our Filipino citizens doesn’t have discipline regarding to the waste
management, and if you can notice if there is a calamity, our country is suffering to recover
immediately it takes 2 or more years to recover and be back to normal, but with the help of waste
management regarding to biodegradable will help our country to have an economic success and to
lessen the non-biodegradable. Over the centuries waste management was one of the sanitary
activity and it was sufficient that garbage was transported and disorganize out of the cities and
dumped somewhere. In every places. However, due to the significant economic growth after World
War II, the amount of generated waste was highly increasing tremendously and environmental and
health problems such as pollution of air, soil and ground water occurred and the people is affected
by the waste management due to not focusing in to it (Sage 2015). The world now is having a
climate change due to human activity, deforestation, industrialization etc. that affects our mother
nature that has a big impact to pollute the air, water and soil.
In order for the environment to cope with ecological resilience and establish sustainable
communities, one way is to engage in complex idea of waste management. A scheme that generally
use to lessen the indicators of environmental dilemmas. However, these waste management has
main barriers that could affect in initiating effective proper waste disposal, namely; The lack of
awareness of mass students in the said university and comprehensive and appropriate tools and
equipment. Waste is the output of human activities, thereby individuals had the necessities and
obligation to comply with such as having a proper understanding towards waste management
issues. Awareness in waste management is the key to cooperative community for conducting an
essential way to help the environment which is the critical component in any waste management
program, public awareness and participation, in addition to appropriate legislation, strong technical

especially young ones to follow certain policy or practices that is valuable and beneficial to
Waste management is the universal approach that helps to decrease the alarming rate of
unpleasant happenings in environment and making waste obsolete. It has been a major
environmental issue globally since the industrial revolution. Apart from waste created at home
school and other public places, there are also waste from huge establishments such as hospitals,
particular industries and other sources. Humans rely on materials and that almost end up as waste.
There are two types of waste classified as: (a) Trash: solid wastes from places like attic, backyard
or study. These materials include paper and card boxes etc. (b) Garbage: This is waste from kitchen
and bathroom. They also include waste from cooking food and from food storage facilities.
