Video “Expressing a point of view”

A. What to do?

Record a video expressing to what extend you agree or disagree with Dan Pink’s
view on motivation using the present perfect, phrasal verbs, and other functions
practiced in this learning activity.

B. How to do it?

1. Click on the video The surprising truth about what motivates us

necessary and take notes. If there is any word you don’t understand, go to
www.wordreference.com and look it up.

2. Read your notes, decide if you agree or disagree with his position, and record a
video expressing your opinion.

Sample

I don’t agree with his opinion. I have had many different jobs in my life and
the most important factor has always been money. For money, people get up
earlier, work out harder, and are able to do the impossible. You need money
if you want to take care of your family. When I am looking for a job, I always
think about the salary first. I have had many different jobs where the pay has
been good and the work has been repetitive and monotonous. This is not a
problem for me. I am good at learning anything. I just need the right
incentive. In my case, this incentive is money.

Of the course because to start in my opinion on the video the
truth be surprised about what motivates us, I do not agree
with the video because we live in a society where we look for
ways to survive and one of those means to survive is
through some kind of work well paid but we do not look for a
job where the payments are minimal and our effort is taken to
the maximum. I think that all human beings have certain
reasons that help us achieve the objectives and objectives in
the best way possible, an example, of course the family
would be because without it our goals would be minimal. I
believe that money is a very important factor that many
struggle and sacrifice to obtain, but for me the more you
think about money; less money will come to you and more
debts you will suffer. You just have to position money as a
determining factor when developing certain skills. I have
worked and generally looking for a well paid job.
