 What we do?
The Project of Center for dementia includes a complet matter in connection persons with
dementia, carers and guardian of person with dementia. This is the first and only Center
of this type in B&H. We think that in our Region(Former Yugoslavia)our Center is
unique.

work of the Centre with affected persons (effect of treatment, care, diet, chronic
diseases)

 What are our references ?
1) Research on theme "Perception and image of person with dementia in Bosnian society
yesterday and today“. Health Journal from US wants to publishe this work,
2) Testing patients of Center for dementia. We have 1.500 test subjects in our register,
3) Work to raise awareness of the need to adopt a national strategy. In this moment we
work with Ministry of health and Ministry of labor and social policy,
4) Work on the organization the First BH Symposium about dementia. Will be held on
21.09.2016. Sarajevo ; B&H
5) Work that medications for the treatment of dementia to be on the positive list of
medicines paid by the Insurance. Memantin and Cerebril is on positive list.
6) Around table about Dementia. Participants : Ministry of health, Ministry of labor and
social policy, Neurological Clinic, Home health of Canton Sarajevo, Major of Sarajevo,
