THE SEASONS IN BRAZIL

The seasons in our country are Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring.
In Brazil, the Summer begins in December and finishes in February. It's
the hottest season. The sun shines bright, and days are long. The students
enjoy the weather in their holidays.
In March starts the Autumn, the Summer holidays are over. It's usually dry
and windy and we often can see grey clouds in the sky. It marks the
transition from Summer into Winter.
The Winter months are June, July and August. The nights are longer and
darker. The temperatures are low, a great time to drink hot chocolate.
Known as the Flower's season, the Spring is a beautiful season. It starts in September, the weather
is cool and birds sing in the trees.
