Description of item content Anne S. is Brumby Elementary’s only Target and
Talent Development teacher. She has been the Target/TD teacher for the past 5 years at our school. I collaborated with Anne S. regularly by meeting in her room. I asked her questions for guidance and acquired several recommended resources from her (both resource books and just ideas). She helped me to fine tune the OneNote resources as well as my teacher survey. She gave me a lot of input on the front end as far as what she felt general education teachers needed to know in order to meet the needs of GT students in the regular classroom. How this item informs your goals. Meetings with Anne S. informed my goal of Significance in your Practicum/Internship collaboration as well as development of the experience. OneNote, information on Brumby’s Underrepresentation (for the professional development), as well as helping guide my development of the professional development, especially in the portion about creativity. Acquisition Challenge Level (considering Level 3 time, effort, money, etc. on scale of easy = 1 Due to conflicting schedules, it was a challenge to to difficult = 5) make the time to meet with Anne. It did not cost any money, but it did take a lot of time to gather information and resources through her. It definitely took effort to adjust my own schedule to work around hers in order to meet. Sometimes I would have to miss parts of a team meeting, or lose a good amount of my own personal planning time.
