Prior Knowledge: What knowledge are you building on?

Students know how to count, write numbers also how to subtract into two different method.

Method 1: They count from the small number until they reach the large number in question and calculate the number
that appeared in their fingers.

Method 2: Count down from the big number to the small number and calculate the number appearing in their fingers.

Lesson Objectives: These must be SMART objectives – specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time bound
By the end of the lesson, students will be (better) able to:

The student will be able to subtract 2 digit numbers, and how to break apart from the question to make the question easy.

Low Ability student will be able to show the ones and the tense.

Medium ability student will be able to break a part .

High Ability student will be able to make the three step which are they show the ones and the tense, able to break a part and solve
the question into 2 steps.

Lesson Activities: What will students do in the lesson?

Opening: (15 min to 20 min)

o The teacher will welcome the students.


o Let them set nicely.
o Told the object of the day.
o Give them the instruction.
o Explain the question in front of the class and let the student share with the teacher their answers.

Activity: (20 min)

The student will work independently using their book.

Student should to solve the questions, (do it in my own) page after the teacher finish teaching them.

The teacher will work with the student step by step to check that they now each step.

Ending:

o Student should to clean up before the class ends.


o set nicely back to their set.
o Make a fast revision about what they have done learn.

The teacher will ask them if they feel that understand using the thump strategy for example if they feel that it was easy thumps up if
not thumps down.

Evaluation / Assessment: How will you know your students have achieved the goal?

After completing the individual work, the teacher will check the student work in the book.

The teacher will correct the answers, and see how the student understands and what he gained from the lesson, by the questions he
solved.

Or

The teacher can observe the student while they are working and ask question to make sure that they get the idea or understand.

Take notes while the student working, about the student ability levels if they achieve what are required for them to achieve.

Personal focus: Related to PDP

In this lesson, I am working on how to manage the time and how to complete the work before the lesson done.
