Scientific Information about Agnihotra

Effects on microbial count

Dr. A.G. Mondhar, Practicing Microbiologist from Mumbai has
conducted experiments to study the effect of Agnihotra atmosphere
on bacterial population. Two rooms of identical dimensions were
selected and Basal reading of microbial colony count was done in both
these rooms after exposure of agar plates for 10 minutes.
In one room Agnihotra was performed and in the Control room control
fire was produced with same material, medias were exposed for 2
hours after Agnihotra. In his interesting experiment Dr. Mondkar has
observed that Microbial count where Agnihotra was performed
revealed 91.4% reduction in colony count and the control did not show
appreciable change. He has concluded that it is not a mere fumigation
effect but much more than that
Further, Dr. Mondhar studied Bioenergetics system of individual micro-
organisms. He concludes that Agnihotra plays a pivotal role in
controlling metabolic activity of microorganisms.
In yet another interesting experiment Dr. Mondkar observed
therapeutic effect of AgnihotraAsh in Rabbits. He has successfully
treated scabies in Rabbits with Agnihotra Ash application. Normally
Benzyl Benzoate is used and takes 5-6 days to heal the scabies
whereas it was observed that a single application of Agnihotra ash
Ointment cured the scabies in 3 days only and that too without the
anxiety of poisoning as may happen with Benzyl Benzoate.
Agnihotra effect on aerial micro flora was also studied by Dr. Mondkar.
It was observed that bacterial colonies of Staphalbus, B Subtlis,
Enterococci, E Coli, Staph Pyo, Pheumonae grown before Agnihotra
showed a definite reduction in colony count in 30 to 60 minutes. There
is a definite reduction in micro flora after performing Agnihotra.
Dr. B. R. Gupta, Associate Professor, Microbiology, CSA University of
Agriculture, Kanpur has conducted experiments on effect
of Agnihotra on plate count of Aerial bacterial flora. He has found that
in human residence where no Agnihotra was performed the Bacterial
colony count was 123 as against in the human residence where
Agnihotra was done regularly the bacterial colony count was as low as
a mere 25.
Agnihotra ash also controls the growth of pathogenic micro flora. WG
Cdr. D. V. K. Rao, Classified Specialist, Pathology, Defence Institute of
Physiology and Allied Sciences, Delhi has studied anti-bacterial and
wound healing effect of Agnihotra Ash. Antibiotic Sensitivity test was
done on various pathogenic bacteria. It was observed that the activity
in all the cases was bacteriostatic.
Wg. Cdr. Rao also studied the wound healing effect of Agnihotra Ash
on two Albino rats. He observed that rate of wound contraction was
better with Agnihotra ash applied wound and Histopathological
examination of scar tissue showed near normal histology in case of
lesion applied with Agnihotra Ash as compared to increased fibrous
tissue in Control lesion.

Agriculture
Effects on Germination of Seeds
Dr. B. G. Bhujbal of Pune M.J.P. Agriculture University has conducted
some experiments on Germination of Grape Seeds and Cuttings
in Agnihotra atmosphere. His observation is that despite use of
modern technology in the form of use of hormones, scarification, etc.
for germination of grape vines, the germination was very low. It was
only 20% and further it takes a very long time, as much as 300 days
to sprout. With this lacuna in mind he selected seeds of popular
varieties for the study. All the seeds and unrooted cuttings were kept
in Agnihotra environment and were also treated with Agnihotra ash;
untreated samples from the same lot were used as Control.
He was startled to observe that the first sprouting took place after
only 21 days of sowing. Thus Agnihotra atmosphere induced a rapid
germination in a short period of 21 days against control showing 6
months or more. Root cuttings showed 10% rootings in Agnihotra
treated cuttings as against 80% rooting in control. The loss of harvest
was nil and colour was optimal i.e. Golden Yellow with increase in yield
to 24% in Agnihotra treated cuttings as compared to 30% loss of
harvest and yellow green colour in control group. He was amazed to
find that Agnihotra atmosphere helps in Raisin making from grapes.
The drying of bunches in Agnihotra atmosphere was complete in 21
days and taste was good in 35 days.
Dr. Ramashraya Mishra, Associate Professor, Genetics, CSA University
of Agriculture, Kanpur, has observed effect of Agnihotra Ash on
Varuna variety of Rai seed. During this study Rai seeds were treated
with cow-dung and cow urine and Agnihotra Ash for 24 hours before
sowing and equal quantity was kept untreated as control Dr. Mishra
observed that Agnihotra Ash treated seeds with dusting of ash gave a
higher yield by 30%
Similar experiments in various other fields revealed definitely positive
and encouraging effects of Agnihotra in Seed Preservation, increasing
Crop Yield, Multiplying Earthworms (which act as natural nutrients for
soil),release of Soluble Phosphates from Soil and such concerned
things with Agriculture.
Radiation
A paper by L. Matela, Antoninkowska, Poland states that every couple
of hour's radio activity in atmosphere and drinking water was
measured by radiasthetics in Bialystok, Poland. Two weeks later these
measurements were compared with official data of international
Atomic Energy Agency and they concurred with each other to a great
extent. The author of this report has further tested the effectiveness
of Agnihotra under conditions of higher gamma doses output. The soil
radio activity was reduced by sprinkling it with water solution of
Agnihotra Ash.
As stated earlier there are many prominent researchers engaged in
finding out more and more valuable information about Agnihotra. They
will come out soon with amazing findings. However, the effort on their
part should be considered as something like stumbling on a hidden
treasure because the abundant richness of the treasure is a reality yet
unknown to them. Agnihotra is the gift of the Supreme Being to
mankind and, therefore, complete and all powerful. As already
confessed by an Egyptian Scientist 'there is some force that defies the
laws of science at work in the 'pyr' - 'amid'.
