Tripur Bhairavi

As per tantra belief, there are two type of “pralay” always going on.
(1) Nitya Pralay
(2) Maha Pralay
we have seen that Goddess Chhinmasta directly related to maha pralay and her
other name is “ParaDakini”.
At each and every moments person or objects gets damaged this called nitya
pralay (hey remember in science we call it entropy) The God of nitya pralay is
“Rudra”. When the power of “Rudra” becomes “Vinashonmukh” we called him
“Yam”. This power “yamagni” rules the south direction, that’s why “Yam” called the
lokpal of south. Like this “Som” is lokpal of North. “Som” is loving elements and
opposite destroyer called “Rudra”, ”Dakshinamoorthy” and ”KalBhairav”. The power
of Bhairav called “Bhairavi” or “Tripur Bhairavi” as she rules Tribhuvan. Shree
Bhuvneshwari creates “tribhuvan”, while Bhairavi destroy it by nitya pralay . Her
another name is “AparaDakini”

Her Forms, Works and Belief:

All devine Goddess can be define in two way, Saumya and Rudra. Tripur Bhairavi
is tremendous powerfull and dangerious vidya. As Light and Energy always brings
changes, Bhairavi also behave like same. We have great fear for Agni and Tejas, because
it can destroy our identity, selfness, Ego, “Agnan” and all berriers. She destroy our all
illusion for knowledge. She burn our all negative impurities and Tamas. Bhairavi can
perform any level of destruction for welfare of its own child.
Bhairavi is active power of Ishwar. We call it “Tapas”, which brings changes.
“Tapascharya” is process for to concentrate self-consciousness (Swachetna) and bring it
in active form to destroy all our Agnan. In Sanskrit “Tap” means to destroy in fire
(“jalana” or “Bhasmibhoot”). By this way Agni and Tapas works in same manner. Both
bring changes by burnings. This tapas also known as “Chidagni” means a fire in our
Chitta or our Chetna. This Tapas or Chidagni is main force for all changes in sadhak
while Tapcharya. This power of Chidagni called Tripur Bhairavi. She also known as a
“Durga”. Bhairavi born or reappears from “Tej” of all Gods. “Tej” is another form of
“Agni”, that’s why we call her “Agnivarna”. other names are “Tapasajwalanti” and
“Vairochani”.
In yoga tradition Tripur Bhairavi means power of kundalini. Kundalini has two
form
(1) Inactive (suchhuptavshtha)
(2) Active (Jagrat).
Muladhar Chkra is home for Kundalini, where there is “pradhanya” of Earth elements. At
the home means in muladhar kundalini is in inactive form. The shape of muladhar is
Triangle. So another name is “Trikonantar Dipeeka” means a diya that lights up in
triangle. And “Chidagnikund sambhuta”. In shrushtikarma in muladhar chakra you feel
dwait. “I am different than other” called dwait”. Tripur Bhairav burnt your dwait feelings
very crucially. So in our body she lives in a Muladhar Chakra till Shushupta Avastha, but
by sadhana when we awaken her she fill our existence with purity.
Similarity of Tripur Sundari and Tripur Bhairavi

There are many similarity in tripur Bhairavi and tripur sundari. Both are like two face of
one power (Shakti). Avyakta power is Tripur Sundari and vyakta power is Tripur
bhairavi. The positive form of Bhairavi is “Ekagrata” while negative forms of Bhairavi is
Avidhya. Sahaj Bhav in all different position called Sundari, to melt or forget self in one
elements or position called Bhairavi. Bhairavi means earth elements and lies in muladhar
while sundari means Space and lies in Sahastrashar.

Bahiravi Yantra :

There are 9 adhomukhi trinangle in center, than there is ekvrut, than Ashthadal Kamal ,
than a one chakra.

Form of Bhairavi

Bhairavi related to “tapas” and fire. Her form filled with light. This light and aura comes
only through “tapah”. Fire and tapah burns all our negativity and make sadhak pure and
satvashil. Bhairavi wear mala of 84 narmunda. The red clothes of bhairavi indicates
kriyashakti and rajas shakti. Her 3 eyes represents dashta or sakshi Bhav. The mugut of
bhairavi made of moon. Moon is form of sadhak and represents sadhak’s man,
anubhav, anubhuti, chetna, achetan and atichetna. Tripur Bhairavi has four arms. She hold
Japmala, Abhay Mudra, sanrakshna Mudra and Vidya Mudra.

Tripur Bhairavi Mantra :

As we have seen that Tripur Bhairavi and Tripur Sundari are two face of same
energy, So both mantra are like same. Booth have three Koot.
(1) Hastraim
(2) Hasakalam
(3) Hasasrau

These three are beej Mantra of Brahmagranthi, Vishnugranthi and Shivgranthi.

(In Tantra Koot = Granthi in Yoga. )
Brahmagranthi = Muladhar and Swadhisthan Chakra
VishnuGranthi = Manipur,Anahat,Vishudhhi Chakra
ShivGranthi = Aagna and Shahastrashar Chakra

Above said mantra’s “Drashta” is Brahma,Vishnu and Mahesh.

only “Swaha” can be mantra of Tripur Bhairavi.
Sundari’s Panchodashi Mantra also can be used for Tripur Bhairavi.
That’s why always saying Sadhana of Bhairavi is most beneficiary before sadhana of
Tripur Sundari.

Dhyanam Of Bhairavi :-

Best method for dhyanam of Bhairavi is to concentrate on our “Chetna”. In other words
concentrate on Light that lies in our inner side. Inner light and inner sound are para. We
can see it by only our third eye. We should do “Yagna” of our “Ishchha”, “Vasna” and
“Vichars”, Do “Homam” of our “Kshati”,”Durguna” and negativity. And do “Tapah”. The
last end of “tapah” is “maun”. This “maun” leads to “Nivvruti”. You have to burn your
thoughts in fire of “Sajagta” and “Sabhanta”. After this Yagna you find the purest Chetna.
At this stage you are ready to “Atmasat” the Goddess Tripur Bhairavi. “Sajagta”
Consciousness of sadhak is bridge to Tripur Bhairavi.
In Tripur bhairavi sadhana there is “bahyachar “ also. If any one know please describe
here. As I told earlier for Inner Homam, keep all your “indriyas” concentrate on yourself.
Keep your “Vacha” or “words” in muladhar and keep your existence in “Maun” than you
will find the bhairavi as Light and fire. Notice that bhairavi has no weapons cause she is
victorious Goddess. She had already won the battle so now she do not need the weapons.

Forms Of Bhairavi :
Bhairavi is mool karan of universe. Bhairavi is Yogeshwari Uma. As all people know the
birth of 10 Mahavidya, When lord shiv ask for introduction that time Parvati said, “
Aham tu Bhairavi Bhimam shambho ma tvam Abhayam Kuru”

Means “I myself Bhairavi, come here to give you “Abhayadan”. Many people believe
that Goddess Parvati herself is Bhairavi. Many people use bhairavi sadhana for “Ghor
Karma”. Her Dhyanam can be found at 3rd Adhyaya of “Durga Saptasathi”.

Paravak means word at its own image or its own energy. Word like pure fire called
Paravak. Bhairavi equal to Durga, means “Durgati” nashini Durga. Her weapons are word
and light only. As we have seen earlier that Goddess Tara {Link} also related to “vak”.
But difference is that Goddess Tara is Pashyanti Vak and Bhairavi is Paravak. So Bhairavi
is more Shukshma and Satvashil. If your “Vak” convert to “paramsuddha” from
“AtiSuddha” than Goddess Tara become Goddess Bhairavi. Your words become light.

In many sampraday people believe that Bhairav and his energy Bhairavi as main God and
Goddess. All other are variant of them.
