Introduction

Intelligent Connectivity Panel

View from the guest:

I travel a lot, and therefore I often stay in hotels. I carry a lot of personal media devices
with me, such as an iPod, laptop or camera, with my own favourite content.

However, the use of these devices in the hotel room is limited and therefore I can not
enjoy my favourite content like home

It would make my stay more enjoyable if I could make more use of these devices in the
hotel room, for example by playing the music of my iPod in the background, or using
the TV to watch my photos or movies from my laptop..

Difference between Connectivity Panel with VGA-HDMI converter and
without VGA-HDMI converter

The Connectivity Panel has a connection for VGA.

1. All our large system tv’s screens (26” and above) launched in 2007 range,
have a VGA input connector so they can connect directly with the Connectivity
Panel via a VGA cable

2. Hotel TVs without a VGA input connector can only be connected to a

Connectivity Panel with an additional VGA-HDMI converter inside the
Connectivity Panel. Connection is made via HDMI.

• On the next slides, you can see which Connectivity Panels have a VGA-HDMI
converter. Furthermore there is a slide with a compatibility matrix.

• Note: the VGA-HDMI converter has mainly effect on the compatibility with the
TV’s, which is enlarged when a VGA-HDMI converter in the Connectivity
Panel.
