Description:
Polpox EP HS 942 is a solventless, epoxy resin system having very high mechanical properties, in-built flexibility,
very fast curing to achieve mechanical properties at room temprature. It has excellent adhesion to concrete, metals &
other construction material used in construction industry.
Salient Features:
Low viscosity injection grout, Primer, High strength epoxy mortar
Capability to penetrate in concrete porosity and cracks
Excellent bonding to metal as well as concrete surface
Capable of curing in dry, moist & wet condition(underwater)
Good mechanical & chemical properties
Ultra-fast development of strength
Free from unreactive diluents /solvents
Application Areas:
Bridges bearing plates
Machine Bases
Fixing bolts and anchors eve for dynamic loading
Rail tracks, vertically placed dowel bars
Coating and repairs of water tanks
Application Methods:
Surface Preparation
All surfaces must be sound, clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, cement laitance and all loosely adhering particles.
All loose concrete should be removed and mechanically abraded to get ruff surface to improve adhesion of epoxy
mortar/coating.
If possible use hot air blower to remove moisture/ water wherever possible. However, Polpox EP HS 942 capable of
curing in moist/ underwater.
For early strength hot air blower to be used when ambient temperature is below 25°C
