Lesson Two: Career Opportunities in the Metalwork Industry

 Demonstrate a knowledge of career opportunities locally and globally
 Demonstrate a knowledge of how technology is changing the
employment perspectives of current job openings
 Demonstrate good “housekeeping” techniques as the shop would be a
worksite

opportunities (oil rigs, car manufactures etc)

 Mind map on the board about local and global opportunities
 Play careers in welding video

 Homework – interview a metalwork trades person
