As an Arizona State University undergraduate in Art History, I would like to fill the position of
Jane Dale Owen Director and Chief Curator at the Blaffer Art Museum advertised on Indeed’s website.
My leadership skills coupled with my management experience and art history knowledge can provide
you with the utmost degree of professionalism, innovative and fresh ideas to be an engaging director in
the contemporary art world.

As a young professional I have gained strong management and leadership skills through working
for innovative companies like Toshiba International Corp. as an Inventory specialist where I was part of a
team that helped reduce operating costs. I led the way as a supervisor at Cardinal Health helping to set
new standards that balanced work flow through collaboration with employees. Through teamwork,
dedication and strict standards I have continued to raise the bar not only for myself but for those
around me resulting in exceptional gains, new ideas to old problems and an ever-present drive to do
better. With Toshiba International Corp. I worked under strict time constraints and provided consistent
results that were both relevant and innovative. With Cardinal Health I balanced multi-tasking of running
daily operations, staff supervision, as well as customer connections insuring a great and consistent
product. My duties included correspondence and constant communication with various customers,
upper management, coworkers and employees.

These skills combined with my Art History knowledge in the contemporary arts allow me to be
practical in my execution while staying determined and innovative when faced with challenges. The vast
international stage of contemporary art needs a keen eye and discerning touch to be fresh with its
presentation and I believe I am a strong candidate that can bring engaging and compelling perspectives
that can empathetic, articulating and multicultural. I believe my practical experience, drive and
innovation meet the requirements you are looking for.
