Alumni Activities
GIET has a very well organized Alumni Association and an Officer who constantly keeps
in touch with the Alumni regarding their feedback for improving the teaching-learning Student Life in Campus
Process. The Alumni also help to coordinate visit of Industries where they are working
to augment the activities of the Placement Section. Regular meetings are held every Science & Tech Expo and Cultural Activities

Placement System
The placement scenario at our campus has always been extremely positive. Almost 95% succeed in securing a job. Over 85 reputed companies visited our campuses in the
previous placement season of 2016-17, a big number of whom were repeat visitors. Over time, our placement process has been refined to make recruitment as simple as
possible for students and companies alike. We have a dedicated team of placement executives and placement committee volunteers who work to ensure the smooth
functioning of the placement process. The team is headed by a Placement Coordinator.
