 Lexis of animals, plants and weather.


 The Present simple to describe states.
 Adjectives to describe people and places, comparatives and superlatives.

By the end of the lesson, students will be (better) able to:

Speaking: To ask and answer questions about the superlative more confidently.

Listening: To listen to a description; to listen to and share information.


Reading: To read and answer the activity.
Writing: To spell superlative forms accurately.
Lesson Activities: What will students do in the lesson?

 I will present some pictures on the board and ask the students

“How can I describe this pictures?”

They will use their prior knowledge by using some adjectives to describe the picture on the board.
 I will give each group a picture of cake, circles and houses with different sizes and I will tell them to
compare the sizes. They will have different adjectives that can help them to describe the pictures.

 I will solve with them the activity book Pg:33

 I will give the students a worksheet if they finished the book activity they can complete it.

The worksheet will have adjectives and the students will have to superlative forms accurately. (use ER-EST)

Old – Older – Oldest

Fast – Faster – Fastest

Quick – Quicker – Quickest

Slow – Slower – Slowest

Big – Bigger – Biggest

Tall – Taller – Tallest

Short – Shorter – Shortest

 I will end the lesson by asking the student


“Who can tell me what did we learn today?”
“Can anyone give me an example using (est) at the end of the word?”

Evaluation / Assessment: How will you know your students have achieved the goal?

 To make sure that the students have achieved the goal they will be able to use the
superlative more confidently.

 They will be able to complete the activity in the activity book.


Personal focus: Related to PDP

In this lesson, I will try to improve my managing skill in the classroom.

I will use dojo point to control the classroom.
