Policy – Guidelines

1. Objective:

This document outlines the policies, procedures and benefits that will be applicable to all
employees of BackOffice Associates APJ, working on declared Public holidays and
weekends(Saturdays/Sundays) or (Friday/Saturday for ME employees). The policy is aimed at
acknowledging employees’ hardship due to working on declared Public holidays and
weekends to meet the project requirements

2. Applies to:

All permanent employees (This Policy supersedes any other Policy circulated previously
related to Compensatory-off)

3. Key Guidelines:

i. Employee may be required to work on a weekend or declared public holiday to meet


critical business needs and exigencies. Employees working on such arrangements shall
be eligible for compensatory day-off
ii. Employee has to work minimum of 8 hours on a declared Holiday or weekend to be
eligible for compensatory day off
iii. Holiday eligibility for compensatory off will have to be pre-approved by Project
Manager/Delivery Manager via email
iv. Comp-offs must be applied within the APJ Ops portal. The request will be routed to the
Reporting manager and the basis of approval will be the pre-approvals from Project
Manager or Delivery Manager
v. The compensatory day-off has to be availed by the employee within 90 days else will be
considered lapsed

Steps to Apply Compensatory day-offs in Ops portal:

• Login to your Ops portal https://operationsportalapj.boablr.com/DSP/Virtual.aspx#id=1


• Go to Personal Info>>My Compoff category

• Click on the “Apply Comp-off” button and then select the date, key in the comments and
submit.

• Once submitted, it will be routed to your Reporting manager for approval.


• Once the Compensatory day-off is approved, it will be accrued to the Avail Comp-off
category and then you will have to click on “Avail comp-off “

• Ensure to use your available PTOs in a timely manner
