Resolution No. 2018-124, Appointing Mayor Dave Potter as a Director, and

SUBJECT: Councilmember Carrie Theis as an Alternate to the Monterey Peninsula Regional Water
Authority (MPRWA) for a term of Two Years.

RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council adopt the Resolution.

RESOLUTION NO. 2018-124

Whereas, the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea has representation on the Association of

Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG), the Fort Ord Reuse Authority (FORA),
Monterey Peninsula Regional Water Authority (MPRWA), Monterey-Salinas Transit
(MST), Transportation Agency of Monterey County (TAMC), Monterey Convention and
Visitors Bureau (MCCVB(), and Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District
(MBAPCD); and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Councilmembers annually discuss and

rebalance their obligations and appointments to local agencies.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF CARMEL-BY-

THE-SEA DOES:

1. Confirm the appointments of Mayor Dave Potter as a Director, and

Councilmember Carrie Theis as the Alternate to the Monterey Peninsula
Regional Water Authority (MPRWA) for a term of two years.
