Your child’s attendance is important.
During December, there will be some Middle-of-the-Year
assessments used to compile data for January report
cards. Students should attend every day and be on time
(tardy is 8:05). Remember to send in notes to excuse any
needed absences. Remind texts and emails are great as
courtesies, but the secretaries need a note too.

CCSS: Measurement and Data
1.MD.1 Order three objects by length, compare the lengths of
two objects indirectly by using a third object.
1.MD.2 Express the length of an object as whole number of
length units, by laying multiple copies of a shorter object (the
length unit) end to end understand that the length measurement
of an object is the number of same-size length units that span it
with no gaps or overlaps.
