COUNSELING
· Over 5 years of experience helping and counseling children (ages 6 – 10) and young adults (ages 14 –
20) on everything from school issues, family problems, personal problems, and anything else that they
needed to talk about.

ADMINISTRATION
· Over 5 years of experience helping with the everyday administration of the church I volunteered at.
Helping keep and maintain records organized and easily accessible. I also helped provide general
information to anyone that was new to the church.

COMMUNICATION
· Throughout my working experience and volunteering, I have developed a great sense of
communication. I can easily and clearly communicate with my peers, making it a successful working
environment.
LEADERSHIP
· 5 years of experience volunteering as a camp counselor at St. Antonios Church. I developed great
leadership skills, being able to make important decisions under pressure and delegating tasks to others
to help make a safe and successful camp experience for the children.

TREASURER
· 5 years of experience handling cash flows and event planning at St. Antonios Church. I would handle
any purchase requests as well as financial planning and budgeting for the children’s camp, handle
money coming in as there was a fee for any children attending the program. As well as any purchases
that needed to be made for the children’s program at the church (musical instruments, first aid, food,
transportation, etc.)

Experience
VOLUNTEER | HOPE CENTRE | 2017-06 TO 2017-08
· Volunteered at the food bank section of the Hope Centre. Helping package up food into containers and
then distribute them to the clients. I further developed my communication skills as well as working
under pressure, in a fast paced environment.

· Main responsibilities included, dealing directly with the client once the appointment had been booked.
Once client arrived, I would talk to the client and figure out what they needed and provide them with

· I volunteered as Camp counselor as I was in charge of all the planning and organizing of the 2 week
camp that was held every year in the summer. I would be on site for the 2 weeks, helping oversee the
events and activities, as well as helping out with anything that need to be done. I was also there as a
support for the children.
