• Learning Objectives:

• At the end of the workshop, the participants are expected to


be able:

• To recognize the rights of women and children as set forth in


the Magna Carta for Women and Anti-Violence against
Women and Children; and

• To identify the necessary courses of action in situations


involving domestic violence.
Opening of Program

• At the end of the workshop, the participants should be

• To analyze and assess situations involving domestic


violence; and

• To use their knowledge to assert their rights and provide


guidance to women in situations involving domestic
violence.
Lecture

• Protection from all forms of violence in the household

• Remedies available for relief from domestic violence

• Equal rights in all matters relating to marriage and family

Roleplaying

• Roleplaying:

• For this portion of the workshop, the participants will be


divided into groups and given scenarios involving violence
in the household, whether as a victim, as a witness to
abuse, or as a person suspicious of another in such
situations.

representative from each group will be tasked to share the
insights of the group with the plenary.
