Redwood City. Mickey had a positive outlook on life & cherished her children more
than anything.
She raised them in Redwood City, and made sure each of them went to college.
Mickey worked at Raychem Corporation for 30 years and helped build the Alaska
Pipeline & Mattel plastic toys. When her children were grown she went to Dennis
Nelson’s Health Spa to work out daily. After retiring, she volunteered at Red Morton
Recreation Senior Center where she helped with meals and made tons of friends. She
enjoyed watching the 49ers practice there. She traveled to Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii &
Disneyland with family.
When her children moved to San Diego for college, she would visit and make
elaborate meals and supply them with tons of food. Her children settled there after
college. Once they married and began having children, Mickey decided to move to
Encinitas to be closer. Mickey lived in Encinitas for 15 years. Mickey’s motivation for
her life’s work was always her children. She instilled in her children the importance of
having a strong work ethic to enable them to receive their own desires in life. Each of
her children has successful careers in their endeavors. Mickey was a great sister, wife,
mother, grandmother and friend.
Anyone who was fortunate to know her would tell you how great she was. Mickey

No holidays were ignored or skipped. We lived by the Circle Star Theatre where mom
