• The Ensim® License Manager (ELM) is a complete suite to adhere to the Ensim Licensing
framework which included complete control over customer installation and to run business logic
applied from time to time. Sub modules included an Web API for the product to call home at regular
interval, a web portal for customers to view their individual licenses they own, upgrade & contact
ensim with issues, a business API, an email alerter built on windows service to periodically email
customers regarding issues and/or blocked processes and a monitor windows service to monitor
and de-activate product installations that haven’t called home with the stipulated time period.

Built using Microsoft technologies generates a random 25 Digit encrypted serial key on purchase of
any ensim pro products, this is then applied on the Ensim Control panel to activate the
product/installation. An in-depth know how is against NDA.

3) Ensim Billing Ǿ
• Design, Coding, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance.
• Technologies: MSXML, ASP.Net, VB.Net, and SQL Server.
• Extremely important, Critical and complex from ensim revenue perspective to bill customers based
on product usage that fell under the category of recurring customers. This project was indeed spilt
into two parts in fact three a) called the Parser, that would read and run business logic to count
SKU numbers against the received billing data in the form of raw encrypted XML. b) Logging app,
that would then open the encrypted usage and run the parser to update a SQL database for future
reference and reporting purposes. c) Web portal, which would search the database and display
usage reports for end user customers over http.

4) Ensim Invoice Genie Ǿ


• Design, Coding, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance.
• Technologies: Windows Forms, VB.Net, and SQL Server.
o Front End GUI for Ensim Finance to generate Invoices in the form of “.PDF” files
on the fly and send invoices via email as attachments to customers at a click of a
button. Additionally this program would also charge customers using their credit
cards if auto re-charge flag is set to “Yes” (using Cyber Source Gateway).
o This also included a utility tool called the Tax Code Updater that would download
real time tax values for specific state, district, city, county in US for a particular
type of product and update the database for future use.

5) Ensim Foundation Server Ǿ


• Architect, Design, Coding, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance.
• Technologies: VB.Net and MSXML.
• Was called in into Build department to head and provide solution to produce stable and reliable
build to increase developer and build engineers productivity. Designed a command line executor
that would read a fully configurable XML which had all the required input definitions to a particular
product and the logic written inside foundation would execute commands as specified, Log and
Track build outputs. Also writing a Web API now so that the Engine could then be triggered of from
a different client.

6) Ensim Customer Ticketing Portal

Users could either file tickets based on severity and/or browse through
knowledge articles published by operations department.

• Web utility tool which was built for Ensim Employees to search, view, and update Global Address
List of Microsoft Exchange. This was built to ensure Ensim IT is not bombarded with requests to
update individual employee GAL information and they could instead update it themselves. Built by
firing LDAP queries on to domain controller.
