Re: Training Course in Gait Training with COPE/CMR/PRC’s

Dear Director –

In line with our work program handed to CMR and USAID 3.1.d (Consultant for Gait Training in CMR to train
staff and audit the system. A regional consultant will be brought in to assess and audit current gait training
methods, provide new and improved methods with the possibility of future training courses.)

While doing our Bi-Annual P+O Center Audit trips we have seen the need for a Gait Training Course as at the
moment the gait training that is taking place in the PRC’s is at a very low level now. To ensure that we achieve
the level of Prosthetics that we expect our Centers to deliver it is essential that proper Gait Training be given at
all 5 P+O Centers across Lao.

We would to do this training course from 25 - 29 November 2013 and thus request permission to
continue.
