Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

 Open a video about the letter e


Whole Group

Time: 5 min

Guided Experience (group working with the teacher)

 Open a power point

 the teacher will choose 2 or 3 students to trace the letter e and number 12 in the board

 There will be few words the students should write the word in the board ( I will choose
at least 2 students for each word)

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

 Put some pictures in the board and the most circle the ones who start with e
(2 or 3 slides in the power point )
Time: 20 min
Small Group

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

  In each table the teacher will put a box inside it there is letters the students should
write words starts with letter e

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

 Each student will have two worksheets about letter e and number ten.

Closing

 Discuss the worksheet together



Make sure that the students know the letter e and number 12

Formative assessment, the worksheet let me know if they can write and trace the letter e and the word twelve

In this class we have a special need girl so I have to speak in Arabic with her
