Obviously, it’ll be very hard for a company like Reliance Industries(or TCS), which has
a market cap of Rs. 330000 crores and net profits of Rs. 27000 crores, to double its net
profits in one or two years. It’s natural. Therefore, it’ll take a lot of time for RIL share
to double or triple from current levels.
But a smallcap/microcap company can grow very fast. And that’s why most of the
multibaggers belong to this category.
So try to change the question from share price to market capitalization.

I was quite active in Quora for a brief period of 30 days. But I stopped writing after
noticing that some people buy based on the answers blindly.
Don’t follow blindly anyone!
The most tragic part was I never wrote the part when to exit which must have caused
sheer pain to many fellow traders who align with my thoughts and opinions and just
bought the stock being manipulated by the answer.
Probably some of them had hefty earning and someone them had me killed in
their mind over dozen times. No!
The case of CUPID
On the date of 10th October, I recommended to buy the shares of Cupid here.
I asked to buy around 290.-300. I was targeting to buy at 295 and the trading
opportunity came around the next trading day where it touched 295. If you see the
answer I was already holding 500 shares.

=3,20,250 INR.
It is currently trading at 288.

internet to stay tuned for the exit unless you understand it yourself. I receive

mins; I am stripped of my time; so I might not see your mail at all.

Take Profit or Stop Loss gets pivoted. I shifted it from 355 to 365 as their quarterly
earning was far more awesome than what I had calculated myself.

The main point that we should understand here, before talking about the best stocks
is that
A stock trading at Rs. 20 is not necessarily cheaper than a stock trading at Rs.
20,000/-
Comparing 2 stocks on the basis of their price is something like this:
The above point may seem counter-intuitive to beginners, because in all other
aspects, the prices of commodities & other things can be compared to each other. But
this does not apply to stocks. Let`s see Why?
A stock or a share is a unit of ownership in a company. A company can issue as many

shares as it wants. Even after issuing the shares, it can multiply the existing number
of shares whenever it wants.
So, let’s say Company A whose net worth is Rs. 100 crores decides to issue 1 crore
shares at a price of Rs. 100 each. Let’s also assume that Company B whose net worth is
also Rs. 100 Crores decides to issue 10 crore shares at a price of Rs. 10 each.
Now the price per stock of Company A is Rs. 100 and that of Company B is Rs. 10.
Does that mean Company B is cheaper than Company A? Does this price denote that
the stock price of Company B can grow faster than Company A just because of their
price? No, the price of a stock is dependent only upon the net worth and the
performance of the company and nothing else.

If Company A performs well, its price can go up to Rs. 1000 in a few years, and if

managed company is able to register a positive growth in FCF along with a

parameters shown in above image. I did not get a single result back when I used strict
criterion (like Debt to Equity Ratio should be less than 2 and other returns related
ranges to be more than 15). I started relaxing the criterion and only one stock came
out. As you can see, I had to make compromises just to give you something to
research more.

This is the biggest mistake most of the traders commit. Let me explain:
Normally traders buy stock of low price since they expect to buy more quantity of that
share with the same capital. And if there is any movement in prices of that share they
assume they can benefit by a large margin due to volume of shares they have.
but
This thinking of a trader is absolutely wrong. Below is the example:
You have a capital of 1,00,000 to invest, and you have chosen 4 company's to invest,
So suppose
1. A with Market price 10.
a. Quantity = 1,00,000 / 10 = 10,000 shares you can purchase
2. B with Market price 50.
a. Quantity = 1,00,000 / 50 = 2,000 shares you can purchase
3. C with Market price 1,000.
a. Quantity = 1,00,000 / 1,000 = 100 shares you can purchase
4. D with Market Price 10,000.
a. Quantity = 1,00,000 / 10,000 = 10 shares you can purchase
Now lets suppose each share go up by 30% value, Lets see what you could have
earned based on the different options: New Market price Based on 30% up:
1. A with Market price 13.
a. Profit = 10,000 (Quantity) * 13 (Price) = 1,30,000

2. B with Market price 65.
a. Profit = 2,000 (Quantity) * 65 (Price) = 1,30,000
3. C with Market price 1,300.
a. Profit = 100 (Quantity) * 1,300 (Price) = 1,30,000 years in Indian stock market?

If you are going to go the cheap stock route then you have to be prepared to lose a lot
incase they crack and come to near "Zero".
There are more than 5000 companies publicly traded on the BSE and the recent
downtrend which started last year, more than 60% of those companies have lost more
than 30% of their stock value from their previous highs.
Mid- and small-cap stocks have fallen more sharply than bluechips in the recent sell
off. While the Sensex has fallen about 17% from its yearly high on March 4, 2015 about
30% of the stocks in the BSE 500 index are currently trading 40% below their 52-week

I didn't get your point. You want info about a single stock which is valued at a price
less than 20 rupees or you want to buy stocks worth 20 rupees ?? Anyhow whatever
may be the case, it doesn't depend on the price of the stock, it only depends on the
profit percent you make. Let me put it in this way. Assume that you bought 100
shares, each of RS/-20, and sold them at RS/-30. So here in this case, you made a profit
of 50%. Now assume that you have bought 2 shares worth RS/-1000 each and sold
them for 1300. SO here you made a profit of 300 on each share, but in the earlier case
you just made a profit of RS/-10 per share. But the difference is that you made less
profit percentage when compared to the earlier case. In both the cases you made an
investment of RS/-2000 initially. So my dear friend, never think to buy shares of less

Better to stay away from penny stocks. Only choose high quality ones.
Usually stocks under 20 rupee are penny stocks because they have been beaten down
badly. Market doesn't like those. Specially in times like this, when markets are at all
time high, if a stock hasn't performed, it will perhaps never do.
In bear markets, you should look for stocks at 20 rs or so. Because even the good
quality stocks are beaten down at that time. Remember TISCO and TELCO trading at
30~40 Rs in 2008

To keep the criteria of stock price only does not make a good sense. Sometimes a large
company price also comes down a lot after a disaster such as fire at Subex plant. Even
if you get into such a stock these are very volatile and you have to keep a close on such

Even if there were some good ones, they won't last below Rs 20 for long!
You're unlikely to find those for more reasons than the above. Most of those at low
prices (there are quite a few of those in the real estate sector) are likely to be beaten
down stocks with massive debts, even higher than their market capitalization, thus
likely to go bankrupt. If they go bankrupt, you'll lose all your investment. So, the risk
of your investment is very high.
Even if you find some low priced stocks, most of them would have a secular
downtrend and be unlikely to rise in the near future. Waiting for them to rise would
test your patience and cost you precious time. As an example, if you get 3x return
after 15 years, is it a good return? Every time the price will fall, you'll ask yourself
whether to buy more or sell.
Much better to read books, seek professional stock-advice (professionals do not pay
attention to such limits to stock prices) or invest in mutual funds.

To answer straight to the question asked ,after understanding the question in my own
way, I would suggest gmr(it always hover around rs15/- to 18.00/-) and gvk(it always
hover between rs 13/- to rs 15/-. Both these stocks are below rs 20/- ,this is the normal
phenomenon I have been seeing in this two stocks from past 4 years. But only straight
strategy is wait with patience till a huge downfall of the market and buy these stocks
as many as possible and wait with little patience until these stocks comes to normal
price until the market comes to normalcy so that you can make some money just with
average investment and decent patience. By any means they would not cross rs 20/-
normally,except in few cases that too for a couple of days and again they go back to How do I successfully pick stocks?

buy large number within this priceband of below rs 20/- and make decent profits.
P. S: Am only answering to the question asked and this is my opinion on these two
