I will use my stickers chart and positive/negative reinforcement chart through the lesson
Treat the students who are sitting quietly.

Hook Tr: will dance and will ask the students “what I am doing?” then she will write dance on the
board.
Tr: will write and will ask the students “what I am doing?” then she will write writing on the board.
Tr: will jump and will ask the students “what I am doing?” and will write jumping on the board.
Tr: will ask all students “what are the similarity with these words?” “Turn and talk to your partner”
Ss: will raise their hand to answer.

Tr: will say these are the verbs and verb means an action. Then she will ask the students “who can
show me a verb?”

Ss: will do the action and she will write the verb on the board.

Tr: will ask the who class to repeat the verbs after her. Then she will ask one student to read by

Independent Experience (high group)


Tr: will give each student a passage that has some verbs and under the passage there is a table.
Tr: will ask the students to read all the passage and circle all the verbs. The verbs are playing, eating,
feeding, looking, dancing, drinking and walking.
Tr: first will model the first one by reading the first sentence and circle play. And then write play on
the table.
Ss: have to circle all the verbs and write them on the table. And at the end they must choose any two
words and write sentences with using them.
Tr: will come and monitor the students if they need any help.
Ss: will raise their hand if they finish.
Independent Experience(middle group)
Tr: will give the who group some sentences written on cards and some small pieces of cards they have
verbs. Each sentence in one card. The sentences has one missing words which is the verbs.
Tr: will ask the students to take the verb and put them to sentence to get the whole sentence.
Time: 15 min

Tr: will model the first one by reading the first sentence which is “ahmed is…………water.” The teach
will take word drinking and will put on the space.
Ss: will do the ramming.
Small

Tr: will come and monitor the students if they need any help.
Ss: will raise their hand if they finish.
Independent Experience(low group)
Tr: will give the whole group 2 large cards they are verbs and non-verbs. And there will be some
picture.
Tr: will ask the students to sort all the verbs pictures to verb card. And the remaining the will put
them to the non-verbs.
Tr: will model the first one by taking the picture of running and will put it to the verbs. And will take
the pictuer of table and will sort it to the non-verbs.
Tr: will give each student an exit ticket. It has one sentence and 3 multiple choices. The sentence is “

my mom is …………. the dinner. And the three multiple choices are playing, cooking, and dancing.
Ss: will do it by them self and if they finish they will raise their hand.

Describe (D):

Who is the lesson for? The lesson was for grade 2.

Where did the lesson take place? It took place in Hilli school school.

What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? I was trying to explain the verbs.

What did the students do? They were engaged and motivated, most of the students did their activity well
and they were behave.

Analyze (A):

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did? The student responded the way that I
taught because the lesson was step by step. First I introduced the lesson by doing some action to get the
names of the action and write them on the board. And I also give the students to make any action and
then the name of it. second, we started our three centers activity each student it depends of their
academic level. Finally, we had or closing to check students understanding.

How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding? Before the students had
background the action and moment .

How well did you engage the students? I saw that most of the students were engaged and motivate
because I was trying to make the best environment in the class, most of the students were sitting quietly
and participated. I was keep rewarding the good students and the once who answer correctly by say
positive reinforcement.

Did your lesson meet your teaching goals? Yes, my lesson meet my teaching goals, because in the closing
and formative assessment I had check students understanding and most of the students answer correctly
and I saw they were able to know the verbs.

How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?
1-when I will model the activities, I must give the groups their activity then open them in the data show
and explain what they have to do .

2- Classroom management. Learn how to redirect students to minimize behavior challenges.

What are the implications for your professional practice?

Using some strategies

Tr: Say to the students “1,2,3 and” ss “look at me” and every one site quietly.

Tr: tell the students “clean up, clean up” ss “clean up , clean up every body clean up” then teacher count
until 10 . all the students must put their activity in the bag and sit quite.

Tr: Ask children to explain their reasons so they can show their understanding.
