RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
For the practice of acid - base pattern, the standardizations for acids and bases
were made with the primary standard, making first the preparation of sodium
hydroxide (NaOH) at 1 gram, then some necessary calculations were made and
their subsequent preparation, making the standardization of sodium hydroxide
with the primary standard, in this case potassium phthalate acid and its
respective phenolphthalein indicator C20H14O4.
Quality control of a commercial vinegar given as a sample was carried out; the
quality control was translated to calculate the% by weight of acetic acid in the
vinegar, for which a titration method (acid-base) was applied, a volumetric
titration of the acetic acid was done, a standard solution or titrant of NaOH, from
the data obtained the weight percentage of the vinegar sample was determined
