1. Audience
All fleet drivers

2. Training Requirements
All fleet drivers must complete this training within 30 days of hire and before driving solo. All
fleet drivers participate in this training every annually.

3. Learning and Performance Objectives


By the end of the training, learners will be able to do the following:

 Recognize the dangers of driver fatigue


 Describe your responsibilities as a driver
 Challenge driver fatigue myths
 Identify and analyze your fatigue patterns and risks

On the job, learners will do the following:

 Recognize if fatigue is impacting personal performance and follow procedures – inform


your supervisors – pull over and call
 Implement effective fatigue countermeasures
