1- Create a food chain in the board and explain it to the learner.


2- Write the word producer, herbivores, carnivores and omnivores on the board.

3- Ask learners to locate these words in the text and tell you the meaning.

5- Ask them where the words producer is, herbivores carnivores and omnivores in the food
chain.
6- Ask the students to come to the carpet divide them in to 5groups with mixed level learner
and explain the activity in each table that they will be doing in each group.
Independent Experience (small group activity)

Activity 1(sorting living and non-living)

1. Tell learners what they will be doing (you need to put the picture in the right
place)

2. students will be working together to sort that non-living thing under non-living
and living thing under living things.

3. When they have finished, ask individual learners to tell me the living and non-
living things. And they will be going to the second center.
Independent Experience (small group activity)
Activity 2 (matching the words with the correct meaning)
1- Tell learners what they will be doing (match each word with the correct
meaning by using the book as support page 142 to page 147))
2- students will be working together to match each word (ecosystem, habitat-
food chain, producer, consumer, decomposer, food web) with the
meaning.
3- When they have finished, ask individual learners to tell me the meaning of
one word from these words. And they will be going to the second center.

Independent Experience (small group activity)


Activity 3(2table will be creating food chain and food web)
1- Tell learners what they will be doing the table will be doing a food chain and
explain the food chain by using the vocab wordsand the 2 table will be doing
a food web and explain the food web.

2- students will be working together to create for chain and food web and
explain by using these words: ecosystem, habitat, food chain, producer,
consumer, decomposer, food web.
3- When they have finished, ask individual learners to tell me about their food
chain and web. And they will be going to the second center.

1- Ask them about what they did in centers.
