9:11 The Attack that shook the world was a great source for finding information on when the
exact events occurred and what key people had to do with it. It broke down the events in the order they
occurred in, it then provided political background on the attack. The book had the main answers to my
question in the events that occurred over the years from the result of this attack, for example the
creation of The Patriot Act and the Assassination of Bin Laden. America widened it counter-terrorism
efforts as a response to this attack, causing major changes to how we combat it in current day.

Reframing 9:11 really does a good job of fully explaining the political side of the leadup and the
aftermath of 9/11. It talks about former president Bush’s buildup to the events, and then former
president Obama dealing with the present-day problems and new laws and regulations that have been
put in place for the safety of the American people and the rest of the world. This book helped me get a
better understanding of all that has changed in parts that people wouldn’t normally know like politics
and the way the government works.

The Long Shadow of 9/11 talks about Americas response to the terrorism and how it brought us
together as a country. It explains how the American people started to combat terrorism starting in
December of 2001. It also talks about the moral and physical battles that America faced in fighting the
Taliban, and how the war is still continued today. This attack brought America and the world together
and built a stronger society. It increased the security used for everyday places all over the world and put
many countries on high alert of potential threats.

This Journal talks about the people’s response to the attacks of 9/11 and the effect it had on
them. It also tells about how people saw the changes over time and what had changed. This attack had
sparked so much inspiration to begin the hunt for terrorist groups and other harmful groups that had
intentions of hurting people. But it had also sparked various stereotypes for different types of people
living in America. These stereotypes led to people being discriminated against and even physically hurt.
