Letter W Lesson Reflection

In this lesson, I attempted new strategy which in transition technique firstly, I felt upset

because I thought that I can’t do it! I can’t change the classroom routine, but thank god, this area

went very fabulous, I had ability to move children from center to other center in organize way, I

applied line up method and it’s really worked with children and my MST loved it. I believe

transition in classroom because it’s give children more opportunity to apply activities and piratic

lesson outcomes.

Also, there is aspect I did it perfectly which is get children attention and made them

involved by used different voice level. For example, if I fell I start losing children I try to raise

my voice little bit. Additionally, I clap my hand if I saw children busy talking or not listen. For

example, I clap three times and say: are you listening? Or I count 1 to 3 and say, “all eyes on

my”.

Whilst, in next lesson I will avoid errors such as hanging the flashcards higher then children

level because when it’s I hanged the flashcards higher, so the children could not’ reach it and my

MST advised me for next time to pull it down. So, I learned that teacher should put pictures or

anything in children eye level.

In addition, for next lesson I may avoid running and pushing when they children transferred

from center to other center because when children were transferred Ahmed was running and he

hurt himself because he falls, so for next time I while request them to march instead of running

and I could have engaged them by song “March march march let’s all march”.
