OPEN ACCESS POWER PURCHASE STEPS

STEP1: Member client agreement (PTC with Client)

STEP 2: Application to Local SE Office for getting “Approval”:

a. Covering / Forwarding letter to Local SE on letter head (Every Month)

b. Annexure 1
c. Rs 2.4 lakh in cash submission for ABT Meter.

Agreement with local EDC: (one time)

a. Terms and conditions for purchase of power exchange (100 Rs stamp)

b. Undertaking for ABT Meter (100 Rs stamp)
c. Rs 10,000 in cash submission (yearly once)
d. Energy purchase agreement (100 Rs Stamp)
e. Member client agreement (photocopy)

STEP 3: Application to SLDC for getting In-principle Approval: (first time)

a. Covering / Forwarding letter to SLDC on letter head for In-principle

approval
b. Rs 1000 DD in favor of TANTRANSCO COLLECTION ACCOUNT payable at
Chennai
c. Local SE Approval (in original )
d. Member Client agreement (photocopy)

STEP 4: Application to SLDC for getting NOC (No Objection Certificate): (Every
Month)

a. Covering / Forwarding letter to SLDC on letter head for NOC

 b. Rs 5000 DD in favor of TANTRANSCO COLLECTION ACCOUNT payable at
Chennai
c. Local SE NOC Approval (photocopy)
d. Agreement receipt of Rs. 10000/- (photocopy)

STEP 5: IEX Registration process: (One time)

a. Client registration Form

b. Risk Disclosure Document
c. Member client agreement (photocopy)
d. Authorization letter (photocopy)
e. Latest annual report (photocopy)
f. Company registration certificate (photocopy)
g. Company pan card (photocopy)
h. Latest EB bill (photocopy).
i. IEX registration fees Rs.1, 00,000 + Service tax 14% (yearly once)
j. Opening of portfolio at IEX

STEP 6: Trading (power procurement).
