Professional Development Plan

(What do YOU need to work on in order to grow professionally?)
To do more manipulates materials for learners to learn,
Using different ways to engage them thorough intonations, small story.
1. Choose and describe an aspect from a teaching competency that you need to work on (Goal)
Explaining the lesson in more abstract, concrete and pictorial.

2. Describe what you will do to help achieve your goal (Strategies Used)

Write the names of the pupils on a small wood, put the teacher in a box, and to call the students
randomly, the teacher pulls the student's name, and then put it aside. So that the same student
is not called again, and give another chance to others. This strategy urges all of us to prepare
the answers.

The teacher asks the class about the date of the day, month, and year. Then point to today's
date and ask the class to repeat it.
Before the lesson, the teacher, who encourages the students to sit in the classroom, respect
and listen to the teacher, will be rewarded with a gift from the teacher (reward - story).
What was the previous lesson? Well, where do we begin to ask, the largest or the smallest?
Example: Khalifa gave me two numbers to put between them. Example: 5-2 = p.
Who loves animals? Who went to the zoo? What did you see, Maha, in the making of
animals? Ali?
Today I have a nice story about Tall in the first row. His name is: Anas went to the zoo, and I
want to tell you this story. are you ready?
The teacher asks the class to come to the front of the classroom to sit on the floor and she sits
on the chair to see all the students during the story.
One day, Anas accompanied his family to the zoo and saw many animals, such as kangaroo,
giraffe, tortoise, lion and tiger. Then he went to see the monkeys, they were many, and when
he approached them all went and left only three monkeys, and the work came Wu put two
bananas on the ground, ran the first monkey and took the banana, bending and taking the

asks the students some questions such as: How many vehicles are in front of you? Which is
more or less?
Then come to the book (lesson today), and ask the chapter to write the date of the day, month

Reflection on Practice *
Overview of the lesson: students were comparing different groups. They were learning to
differentiate which group has more or less. The teacher used various objects such as toys to assist
the students in understanding the concept. Each group was given a group of manipulatives and
they were to compare between them.
Very good story during the introduction
Areas for development: Refrain from removing the students from the classroom. If they are
removed, then they are unable to learn.
Develop strategies to deal with difficult students. They are kids and we must develop the love of
leaning in the children.
Do not lose your cool in front of the children. Remain as positives as possible.
Independent work must last more than 2 minutes.
Lesson plan only included an introduction which, according to the plan, should have lasted 15
minutes. The worksheet activity lasted no more than 5 minutes. What was the time duration of
the lesson plan? A more comprehensive lesson plan is needed.
