Selected Project Experience


RTI International| Development and Maintenance of Symptom Management Measures
Analyst​. The goal of this project, funded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), is to
develop quality reporting programs and quality measures that reflect symptom management in
post-acute care settings in adherence to the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation Act of
2014. The IMPACT Act requires standardization of patient assessment data across post-acute care
settings with a focus on quality measures and resource use.
Research Experience
Michigan State University| Lifestyle Migration Study
Research Assistant. ​Identified and researched patterns and key factors associated with lifestyle
migration and emigration from the United States. This research involved retrieving statistical data from
the Integrated Public Use Microdata Series (IPUMS) electronic database, information gathering, writing
literature reviews, and reporting evidence identifying trends related lifestyle emigration from the United
States.
